Attracting high profile acts for concerts can be a complex endeavor that involves many moving parts that must fit perfectly together. This requires considering venue space, expenses for the show, city history and travel needs as part of this puzzle – which may explain why some artists prefer other cities over Cleveland.
3News reached out to Live Nation’s Barry Gabel to inquire as to the reasons some acts avoid Cleveland and why others do not. He stated that various considerations come into play when organizing such an event; but Live Nation takes great pleasure in hosting big names such as Joel and Stewart.
Gabel notes that booking performers like Taylor Swift or Beyonce isn’t always feasible due to their busy schedules; however, an event by legends Joel or Rod Stewart would surely bring immense pleasure and pride for any city.
